Newborn Poser

The Newborn Poser was designed by Mary Buck, a professional photographer who photographs newborns at a hospital near her studio in Duluth, Georgia. She created the poser from the ground up incorporating soft and easy to care for fabrics using up-to-date designs popular in the photography industry. Her unique design of using inserts, the same size of a standard size heating pad, provides a customizable level of support for newborns up to 3 months old. The poser gently lifts the baby's head so the most endearing portraits can be captured. (see image on left). The poser is 24" long and 17" wide. It weighs just a few pounds which is ideal for photographers who work on location. The covers are removable and interchangeable adding to the diversity of the design. The poser is shipped with 4 parts: the outer foundation foam and 3 inserts. You have your choice of a cover (the inserts are covered in black or white). The Newborn Poser pictured with a white fleece cover and 3 inserts. The inserts are 1" , 1" and 3". Each one is covered in a soft flannel and has an opening to place a standard size heating pad. The covers fit loosely to allow for the heating pad. Insert covers come in white or black depending on the cover you purchase. Use the inserts separately or in combination depending on the developmental stage of the baby. Poser covers and insert covers are removable and machine-washable. Tumble dry low.

The poser is designed for a newborn up to an infant 3 months old. The poses will vary based on the age of the infant.The poser is lightweight, portable and covers are machine-washable.
